Rex Begonia GAC Mini Tuscaloosa Crepe Back to list Festive and busy, Tuscaloosa CrepePPAF derives its name from the high number of folds and curls in its leaves that reflect light a hundred different directions. Imagine humid nights, candles and lanterns swaying, southern women dressed in their finest crushed red crepe, as they glide from horse drawn carriages onto wide white limestone steps. A doorman bows. The party begins. This variety is vigorous, quickly filling a 4" pot, even in winter. Rex Begonia GAC New York Swirl Back to list Cars rushing, women's skirts twirling, cabbies screaming, and stock brokers running, NYC is a city in constant motion. GAC Rex 'New York Swirl' reflects this activity, movement, and organization. A crisp dark maroon/black circle of fingers marks the center of the snail-curled silver and pink leaves.
